Hello TP-Link Team,

I have integrated TAPO cameras with my TP-Link NVR (NVR2016H). While the live feed and basic motion detection work, I have noticed that event detection for human, pet, and vehicle events is not available in the TP-Link NVR.

If this feature is not currently implemented, I kindly request TP-Link to add support for AI-based event detection (human, pet, vehicle, etc.) in the NVR. I understand that TAPO and TP-Link VIGI NVRs belong to different product lines, but enabling full event-based detection would greatly improve usability.

Please consider adding this feature in future updates.

Everyone kindly vote on this post – more votes will help escalate this request to the TP-Link team!

Hi @Babun-Sikder

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

AI-based features are never gonna be merged or implemented to the Tapo. Third-party cameras will support our AI-based functions.

The eco-system of VIGI AI now only supports VIGI cameras. And certain middle or high-class models.
