SG2005P-PD does not boot up when PoE device is plugged
This is a device added to an OC200 v1.0 with firmware version 1.32.6 Build 20241101 Rel.41525
The SG2005P-PD is powered by TL-POE170S and is connected to an SG2008P v3.20
I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same as my issue. Additional info, the PoE Port5 is configured as trunk while the rest Ports1-4 are configured as VLAN50. Currently only Port1 is configured with Power Delivery because Max PoE has been lighting up previously. On Port1 I have a Dahua PTZ Camera which takes about 12.9W of Power. Port2 is another PTZ Camera which now draws power from an external source. It says that there is still 70.68% Remaining PoE Power. Please see the attached screenshots.
My problem is when I reboot my SG2005P-PD with one or both PTZ Cameras plug on Ports 1 and/or 2 the switch won't boot up and remains without power. TL-POE170S also doesn't show that power is being delivered (PoE LED isn't lit). If I unplug the PTZ cameras and do a power cycle either by rebooting the TL-POE170S or unplugging then plugging the LAN cable on Port5 the switch will boot up. Once it has booted up I can plug back the PTZ cameras and both will work normally. Even if both PTZ cameras are drawing power from SG2005P-PD the Remaining PoE Power is still above 50%. I have tried doing a Forget and re-Adapt the SG2005P-PD twice and still the same results. I have also tried replacing cables, bringing the TL-POE170S very close to the SG2005P-PD by using shorter cable but the problem persists.
This is unacceptable especially during power outages. Has anyone seen this issue? Am I missing anything like configurations or firmware?
Thanks in advance to those who will share their solutions.
