Hi,
Is the problem visible on your laptop only? Do other devices (other PC, mobile phone, tables) have the same issue?
If that's one laptop only, have checked it's WiFi adapter's advanced settings? Maybe you have this set to static by any chance?
Have you tried to update your WiFi's card drivers first?
Cheers

Can you provide more info how your network is currently configured?
Do you use TP-Link router/gateway as well or some 3rd party router and just TP-Link Access Point?
Do you have Omada Controller? Or it is managed in Standalone mode?
Cheers.

I have a router and I just need EAP660 to act as an access point ,, I know that I can use it with no configuration if I use Ethernet cable ,, however in my environment I don't want to use Ethernet cable as a connection in between .. that is why I want to configure it .
I installed Omada in my I Phone and I added the serial of my EAP660, but still sowing no active or maybe I missed some configes , I have no idea

I'm having really hard time understanding what you are trying to archive here... Can you explain that in some simple words?
You said you have your router. An you want to connect EAP660HD to this router, but you want to do that wireless? Or I misunderstood you?
Cheers.

So it looks like you are powering on your EAP but you don't know how to access it's Config Page?
Have you tried the instruction from TP-Link:
https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/1000/
Scenario 2 is what you are looking for.
Based on that you have to set up a static IP address on your computer, then you will be able to access EAP's config page and do whatever you need to be done in order to configure it.
EAP's don't have built-in DHCP server, that's why it is setting 169.XXX adress on your laptop.
Router or any other dedicated device is responsible for DHCP in your network. EAP is just providing WiFi using that configuration.

Ok Raru Thanks a lot for your valuable info ,, I can access it now through defualt Gateway as I knew its IP address .,
now my last question : Does EAP660 Support access point to faraway router Via Wifi expansion ? I know that EAP can expand the Router Network Via Ethernet Cable
but I want to expand Via Wifi config , is that possible ?

TP-Link's EAPs support that function between two (or more) TP-Link's EAPs. It is called Mesh.
This functionality is NOT supported between WiFi devices (Access Points) of different brands. So you can't make Mesh network between TP-Link's EAP and (for example) Netgear's...
Other option is something like WiFi Repeater/Extender? Here's an instruction of How-To do it with EAP device:
https://support.omadanetworks.com/en/document/13142/
But I'm not sure of which EAP's from TP-Link has that functionality... The outdoors for sure, I don't think the indoors support Repeater Mode tho :(
Cheers
