Omada OC 300 Management Access

Hello,
I can access my Omada controller OC 300 from my management VLAN and subnet.
However, when I try to access the controller from another subnet I cannot and I am also not getting the ping replies.
Intervlan routing is happening on the core switch, I can ping to my access switch to which my OC 300 is connected.
How can I enable management access to OC300 from different VLAN and subnet?

Hi @KKZ
The role of the management VLAN is to allow only the devices that are managed by this VLAN, if you need other VLANs to have access to the controller, it is not recommended to set up a management VLAN.

Hi @KKZ,
Unlike other Omada managed devices, the controller doesn't (to the best of my knowledge) have a management vlan/layer 3 settings so it should be accessable like a regular device by default.
Few follow-up questions...
- Were there any IP restricions set on the controller? (Global Site -> Settings -> Account Security: Controller IP Access Rules)
- The access switch that's pingable, is it's interface on the same vlan as your controller?
- Is the default gateway/ip settings correctly set on the controller (matches config for pingable ip on the vlan)?

what? this makes no sense. you cannot NOT have a "management" vlan set on devices like switches and APs
OP - have you enabled the account security setting on your controller, taht are disallowing access for unauthorised IPs ?

@Vincent-TP
Hello,
Thank you for your time and solution. I checked back into my configuration and found out that one of the engineer gave the wrong default gateway that's why we were facing issue.
After providing the correct default gateway it got solved.
