Model: General Product
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.4.2 Build 20240118 Rel.63827

After a year of using my router it stopped allowing UDP packets to pass. It was being managed with Omada SDN Controller software. I deleted it from Omada SDN and started using it stand alone and still did not allow UDP packets. Still running standalone I upgraded the FW on ER7206 and it still does not allow UDP packets. I went and checket all my virtual servers under NAT and all my rules were set correct and enabled.

What could be wroung for the router to work but not allow UDP packets.

Thanks

Tim

Hi @toolman60

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

So it is port forwarding a UDP port?

You might wanna check if your WAN IP has been changed to a private one. Your ISP removed your public IP privilege?

There is no reason for UDP to suddenly stop working while you have not changed anything for over a year. That's definitely impossible. That's counter-intuitive.

Virtual Services(Port Forwarding) on the Router Doesn't Take Effect
