Upgrade to Omada WIFI7 APs - Heat, Stability?
Hey folks,
I am planning my home Wifi Network to WiFi7 APs, ended up ordering one EAP773 for Testing. Speed and coverage look promising so far. Didn't do any "intense" load testing yet, since I don't have too many active clients, nor any WiFi 7 clients ... yet.
I see at least some users, also in the TP-Link Forums complain about heat and stability issues with EAP7xx APs.
Could some of you who have already deployed EAP7xx APs (especially 773 and/or 772) share their experiences? Are those APs stable for you? Do they run very hot under load or are the temps within specs and acceptable? It's winter time here right now, so ambient temps are definitely not an issue, but in the summer temps in the house could reach up to 25-26 Celsius inside the house.
I just want to avoid running into stability/heat issues before I order 3 or 4 more EAP7xx APs which I am gonna need to cover the house for my performance needs.
Thanks,
raptor
