Model: EAP655-Wall
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.1 Build 20240929 Rel. 44742

This really applies also to the controller and any leaf devices, but putting in WiFi becuase my specific situation is wifi related.

I have a client I locked to an AP (and also named and gave a fixed IP). The client is no longer online after a WIFI Optimization ran last night. I wanted to check which AP the client was locked to, but, because the client is now offline, I cannot see any details about it. How do I look up (and modify?) a client's settings when the client is offline, especially if I suspect its settings might be what has caused it to be offline?

Let's say the AP it was locked to was incorrect - how would one correct that if the locking knocked the device offline?

Hi @daubstep,

Did you try going to Insight (Lightbulb) and Known Clients?  If it's in the list you should be able to get to the client's config settings.

@D-C Oh thanks, that actually worked but is super unintuitive in the current view!

The final column is "ACTION" (which is where you'd edit a client in the client list). However, the only action here is a trash-can icon for "Forget"... BUT, if you click on the row, it slides out the side panel as if it were a device row that does allow me to view and edit the client config, including the AP lock.

TP-Link folks, please add the little notepad Edit icon under the ACTIONS column here...

(also, unifying these table views more so that search is always available and functions similarly would be great - there is currently at least three different table views that look very similar but function completely differently).
