Here are the links:

Updated on Ubuntu, no issues after updating java.

Poking around, in the Global View->Setttings->Cluster after you enable Cluster the link to " How to Configure Distributed Cluster Mode on Linux Controller. "

(https://www.omadanetworks.com/support/faq/4347/) is broken.

I have a lot of interest in this--is there anywhere to view additional information or should I just wait for the link to be published and go from there?

Additionally, I noticed on the link to supported products that the list in quite limited and only includes EAPs.  Will Routers and Switches be coming or do they all support it and therefore don't require a compatability list?  And I know its beta, etc. but is there a general timeframe target for cluster support across the Omada line?

ded.

Thanks!  those docs are great, but they don't address if there is any issue / problem / consideration for implementing when devices aren't listed as compatible at:

https://www.tp-link.com/us/omada-cluster-deployment/product-list/

For example, if a cluster is deployed but the device isn't compatible, XYZ needs to happen... or the primary node needs to come back online or... etc.

OK, what about the OC300? Same as for the OC200? Anyone knows? Thanks!

Thomas

@Eg64 Not sure what you're asking about...if you're doing a failover/hot swap type of set up, it's better to either go between two hardware Omada controllers or two software Omada controllers since you can import backups rather than doing manual configurations.

Hi all,

Regarding the new feature cluster mode, here are our preliminary plans:

1. We are planning to implement this feature for Windows software, but no ETA yet;

2. OC400 and OC300 will be able to set as Primary Node, no plan for OC200.

Hi  @W38122077

If you manage devices that are not in the compatibility list, the unsupported devices may drop out once rebalancing is triggered (controller down, or manually triggered).
It is not recommended to enable Controller cluster mode if there are incompatible devices in the system.

Even for compatible devices, you need to update the firmware before deploying the cluster controller.

Yeah, I figured it but I had to ask.  Especially when I didn't see any routers or switches listed as compatible.  I guess I'll just have to play the waiting game for things to get added unless there are any rumored/targetted timelines that I can put on the ol' calendar to come back and check?  Y'all need and Beta/RC newsletter or something to announce when things drop ;-)

Thanks again.  Really interested in the functionality--especially the cluster mode.  That looks perfect.

Under Enhancements on Linux 4. “ Optimized Portal Logout Page. Added support to show used and remaining data on the Logout page of Voucher/Local User Portal.” Will this enhancements also be applied on OC 200 and 300? Estimate date of release?
