NAT: The source port already exists for the chosen interface(s). Please change the source port.
Hi There,
I'm trying to setup NAT for ports 80 and 443 to the same host, however, upon configuring the NAT rule it states:
"The source port already exists for the chosen interface(s). Please change the source port."
How do I get around this error message?
I don't want to expose all ports to this hosts, i've got different applications running on other hosts, and since the source-port needs to be unique, i cannot configure them.
With kind regards,
Patrick Lieftink

Hi @RedFoxie
Thanks for posting in our business forum.
You have configured it wrong. I think you should use the FAQ or the User Guide with this.
1-65535 makes no sense here. I don't understand why you would set it up like this.

The problem is to understand what Source IP and port mean. Which seems to be the reason why you asking this here.
If you need to open everything on a device, you use DMZ. (Not)No need to configure such 1-65535 on it.
Second, the Source IP is set to 1-65535 means you open all of the ports to your public IP address.
Everything you access externally will be directed to the local device 443 or 80. Why? This makes no sense to me and most skilled forum users.
You don't explain why you would do that in the first place. I don't know what to explain in the first place. That's wrong based on the given context.
I also provided you with the guide to troubleshooting and it contains another link to show you how to configure the Port Forwarding properly. It explains parameters as well.
I hope you can try again with this information in this reply.
