NVR not recording when internet offline
My NVR1004H-4P is connected to two C440 cameras and two C340 cameras with POE, along with a hard drive, and everything was functioning and recording properly.
However, one day my internet service (Unifi) went down, and I received a notification regarding the CCTV offline. I was still able to access the CCTV and view it normally while connected to the same LAN/Wi-Fi.
However, I noticed that there was no recording on the hard drive of the NVR, and the recording stopped exactly when the internet went down. I couldn't determine the cause of the issue, but once the technician restored the internet connection, the NVR resumed recording. The internet service technician did not touch or fix anything in my home; they only repaired the issue on their end.
Is this a settings issue, and how can I resolve it?
