Unreliable Wifi CCTV connection

I'm a (Long time) retired IT professional. I have installed a CPE210 in Access Point mode for a friend with some security issues. It is hard wired to one of the router ethernet ports via the POE adapter. The problem I have is, I need to connect a solar powered wifi cctv camera that is inside a garage about 25m from the externally mounted hard wired CPE210 and yet the signal reported by the CCTV software is only around 50-60% at best poor and connection is intermittent. The only thing I can imagine is the camera is mount slightly higher than the unit by about 1 meter, could this be the cause of such a poor signal? The output power is set to max and the unit has a static IP address and DHCP disabled using the router DHCP. Max stream is NOT enabled. I've tried tilting the unit slightly upwards with little effect.

Hi @MarkHomer
CPE210 wifi range is very limited. I believe that 1 meter matters.
Below is the wifi angle of CPE210:
You may relocate the cameras to get a better wifi signal.

Hi @MarkHomer
You may consider EAP110-outdoor, it's Omni-directional and 2.4G.
If needed, you can also consider EAP225-outdoor, it's dual-band, supports both 2.4G and 5G, and Omni-directional.

It is not possible to relocate the camera as the purpose is to protect the content of the garage.
The unit is pointing directly at the garage and 40° elevation should therefore give reasonable coverage at that distance. Is that 20° up and down or just 40° below horizontal? I.e. points down only?
If the CPE210 WiFi range is very limited, which product should I have used? Note. It has to be 2.4Ghz and not 5Ghz

It is like the placement of the camera could definitely be affecting the signal, even just a meter of difference can make an impact with Wi-Fi. You might want to try adjusting both the CPE210 and the camera to see if they line up better for a stronger signal. Also, consider checking for any interference from nearby devices or objects in the signal path tax free childcare calculator that could be weakening the connection.
