  @Fabio_Horizon

I also support the request. The controller migration transfers the entire configuration from the source controller to the new one in MSP mode, but it does not allow you to extract individual sites and assign them to newly created customers.

  @S.T.I.

Have you tried regular site migration?

I haven't tested MSP so I don't know if it will work since it's the same server and ip?

  @Fabio_Horizon I am having the same issue.... Is there a way? Looks like you have to create a new controller... Or delete the old site and import into the new customer.

If there is a better way please let me know.

Otherwise MSP mode is only good for new customers, existing ones that were migrated during the MSP change cannot be moved.

  @Vincent-TP Confirmed this only works if moving to a new controller.  We are trying to move a SITE from one CUSTOMER on the SAME controller.

  @Fabio_Horizon

I have the same problem. I wanted to move different sites to new customers after upgrade to MSP mode. As I can see, you can only migrate a site to a customer as long as there is no device connected to the site.

I am thinking about following procedure (Moving Site A of Customer A to Site A (i will call it Site B) of Customer B):

  • Move devices to another site, call it Site C
  • Backup the Site A of Customer A
  • Import Site A of Customer A to Site B of Customer B
  • Here it will be a little bit tricky and this is only an idea:
    • You can migrate every device from every site in your customer and I hope I can use the same inform URL as before
    • if this works, I see the new devices at the Site B of Customer B

I really would like to try this, but my complete setup is a production setup and I don't want to lose one of the devices, because they are all a hundret miles away.

Maybe you have a test device to try my idea?

greets from austria,

Olli from FoxTech e.U.
