WAN Port Always goes down
I lose connection almost 3 to 5 random times a day.
I have two internet connections connected to two wan ports of my ER7206 and the WAn seem to lose connectivity most of the time. I had to reboot the router for internet to both restore connectivity. when this happens I try to connect directly to both my isp routers and seem to be having normal internet connectivity
it's just the er7206 2 wan ports lose connection when I go to their status.
this started happening after I upgraded the firmware 6 months ago. it was running fine with it's stock firmware by the way
hope some one can enlighten me how to fix this

Hi @herbsss
Thanks for posting in our business forum.
You should first fix the problem with both your WANs are on subnet 192.168.1.0/24. This poses a problem based on the given information so far.

I was wondering the same, but it has been like that ever since the beginning ive started using this 2 years ago and they're working that is why i never bothered messing with that. It was set to dynamic. Should I set it to static and assign an IP on the 192.168.0.x subnet ?
I've tried to change it, see the error below

No.. It is not like that. You cannot arbitrarily change it to a new subnet/IP. It does not work in that way.
Get to the modem router web interface and change its LAN settings.
If you don't know how to do it, refer to the User Guide of your modem router or its support team. Avoid the overlap in WAN and LAN is the basic configuration and they can show you how to do it.
You don't have to change the LAN of the Omada router for now. It's just two of the modem routers and they conflict with each other. Change one and see if there is an improvement.

@Clive_A for a time last month for a week, I have removed the sfp wan connection overall and just left with the one modem router connected to the WAN port and still drops out the WAn port connectivity. Also tried the same with the WAN port modem and left with the SFP wan still the same so I don't think that is the problem

If you say so. Nothing changed. And it suddenly behaves like this, you should contact your ISP regarding the network health. There is no other possibility for it to behave in this way out of the blue.
WAN down notification only pops up when the ping does not work. Ping does not work and it displays the "down". Or maybe you can look into this with it.

If you don't believe this is the case, you can go and replace the router with the help of technical support by email/phone.

- when the WAN ports goes down, I connect to the isp routers directly to continue what I am doing without any problems until the er7206 finished rebooting and goes back online.
- again this started happening when I updated the firmware of the er7206 6 months ago and I have been using this for 2 years prior to that without any issues and had the same 2 isps and 2 isp modems with it

Provide a screenshot of the log of the mentioned disconnection.
Wireshark and provide the screenshot of the WAN. Filter with the dhcp.
