Connectio Failed tun_prop_error: one of ifconfig or ifconfig-ipv6 must be specified
I have added the following OpenVPN server in the router.
And I have created two users like this
I have exported the OpenVpn certificate and installed the same in the OpenVpn connect Client. (remote is ej in file is my public ip)
When I connect the first client there are no problems, it connects correctly
But if there is already a client connected to the OpenVpn tunnel and I try to connect another one, I get the following error
I don't understand where the problem could be. I can only use one client, it doesn't matter which one it is. If I connect computer A first and then computer B, computer A connects correctly and the connection works perfectly and computer B gives the error and vice versa.
Any ideas? I have tried with another Omada Er605 and other equipment and the problem is exactly the same.

Thanks for posting in our business forum.
What do you mean by this?
Did you modify the IP to the public one so that the client can connect to your OVPN server on the public Internet?
Nothing's wrong with the config and router as far as I can see.
This error message seems to be something wrong with your OVPN software.

Did you modify the IP to the public one so that the client can connect to your OVPN server on the public Internet? -> YES (I do not show my public IP for security reasons.)
This error message seems to be something wrong with your OVPN software.-> I use OpenVPN Connect download from https://openvpn.net/client/client-connect-vpn-for-windows/

I am aware of that. The first post from you is provided with enough information. That's good.
But I did a quick search with this error and it is more of a problem with the OVPN client side, not the router side.
Do you have luck with the connection on any other devices? Tested?

@JaketonCuatro I've exactly the same issue for a few days. Did you manage to find a solution ?
Tested on 5 devices with different versions of open vpn clients...

From what I have been able to check, if the IP pool is in the same range as the local network, this problem occurs. For example, with 192.168.2.0/24 in the IP pool, it works. But I don't understand why this error occurs.

@JaketonCuatro from side your solution worked. Maybe you can check if joining directly the ip on the lan works ? If you use a Windows environnement you need to use the fqdn for dns request. thanks

@JaketonCuatro OPENVPN WITH MASK /29 Allows only ONE open vpn client connection.
try /27 if you want multi clients
netmask in simple words it is just a number of available IP adresses from server. just leave it /24.
Local network and IP pool must be DIFFERENT
set local network like your network in dhcp
set IP Pool any value like 10.1.2.3 /27
set primary dns your router local ip, i think it is 192.168.0.1
it will work
I advise you to set TCP protocol instead of UDP because of many problems with tcp traffic inside udp tunnel
and dont forget to export and rename configuration every time you change it.
