Yes, traffic tunneling from the Omada controller to the access point is supported. TP-Link's Omada system allows for the management and configuration of access points through a centralized controller. This communication between the controller and the access points can involve various forms of tunneling and secure communication channels to ensure the proper transfer of management traffic and configuration data. For example, in some scenarios where you want to manage access points remotely or in a secure manner across different networks, the Omada controller can establish connections with the access points using VPN tunnels or other secure communication protocols supported by the Omada ecosystem. This enables administrators to monitor, configure, and troubleshoot the access points even when they are not in the same local network as the controller.
