Hello,

I face a peculiar problem with the PPSK and 802.11r.

I created a new PPSK profile where I have 4 passphrases which point to different vlans. Then I created a new SSID to test. With the defaults options (WPA2/AES) it works well, meaning depending the passcode it sends the client to the corresponding vlan.

Then, I enabled the 802.11r option in the SSID settings. When this option is enabled only the last passphrase on the PPSK profile is valid, all the others just fail to connect and on the logs it says  "client X  failed to connected to SSID because WPA Authentication times out/failed.(1 time in the last minute) " and on the client side it says wrong password.

Omada Controller runs on an LXC container (latest beta version 5.15)  and the APs are a mix of 245v3, 245v4 and 225 Outdoor (all with the latest available fw).

Relevant site settings are Fast Roaming: Enabled , Non-Stick Roaming:Enabled, AI Roaming:Enabled.

Tried to turn off these settings and also tried different combinations but it did not fix the problem.

Should it 802.11r really be off so as the PPSK functionality to actually work? Saw the thread about WPA3 but there was no mention about the 802.11r.

Any help would be appreciated.

With Regards

Got a response back from TP-Link support, kudos for being very fast.

It is a known issue with the fw version of my APs and a future firmware release will fix this issue.

The temporary solution for the time being, is to disable 802.11r on the PPSK without radius SSID.
