EAP670 making DNS A and AAAA queries for host eap670 every 10 minutes

Model: EAP670
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.0.4

I have five (5) EAP670s that make one AAAA followed by one A dns query every 10 minutes for the host eap670.  I am using an OC300 controller with build 5.14.26.23

Any idea why they are doing this? How can I stop it (my DNS server is responding with NXDOMAIN as I have no host with that name).

Thanks

Keith

Hi  @PKeithM

Possible Reasons for the Queries: The EAP670 access points might be attempting to reach a management or update server hosted at a domain name related to "eap670". This could be for firmware update checks, configuration syncs with the OC300 controller, or other internal TP - Link services. It's also possible that there's a misconfigured setting that's triggering these DNS queries.

Upon checking the firmware version of the EAP, it's not the latest. So please first update it.
