LAG from switch A to Switch B, Switch B has Clients plugged in but switch shows nothing in clients
Hello,
I am having a weird issue, I have a 2 switches that have 2 10Gb LAG connections between the two, the issue is that on the remote switch none of the clients that are plugged into it are showing in the clients list. But on Switch A you can see the clients and the port says LAG 1 instead of the port # on Switch B. Has anyone else seen this?
Thank you

Hi @Dsunder
Thanks for posting in our business forum.
What is the relation between the two pictures? What are A and B? I have no clue about what you described with the two pictures and the diagram.

Hi @Dsunder
Thanks for posting in our business forum.
Given the information, SW A is the core switch and hosting LAG to SW B.
SW B is connected to several devices and it doesn't display the clients properly. Yet everything populates on the SW A(core), is that the correct understanding of your issue?
Have tried to reboot the network?
If a regular PC is connected to the SW B, it does not display the port, and its status, but displayed on the SW A?

You are correct, switch A is the active LAG, and switch B is the passive LAG.
Your explanation of the issue is correct, I have rebooted all switches during network upgrades and it hasn't fixed it.
I have 13 cameras connected to switch B with static ip addresses and they do not show up as a client on Switch B, they show as connected to LAG 1 on Switch A.
