ER605 v2 Wireguard Peers Allowed IPs standalone
I have been trying to configure a site-to-site wireguard link between my brand new ER605 as a home server, and another remote site router (not tplink) as a peer. Mind you that all my other peers at this home server are working as expected. The only one I can't get to work to my satisfaction is the site2site. I have digged all over reddit and this forum and concluded that what is missing is the ability to add more than one subnet to the peers alowed ips on the standalone mode. This is available if you have a hardware controller and even if you have a cloud controller, however, I don't want to complicate things. I want to keep everything local and work on standalone mode as this ER605 is my only omada device and I have been used to manging my home router locally. I find very frustrating that a device marketed as a VPN router cannot perform as expected due to a unreasonable firmware limitation. I would return it if I could. I am also considering a leap into openwrt, but I am not enjoying the fact that I would lose my waranty. So, is it to much to ask to have the ability to add more subnets on the peers allowed IPs config on standalone mode? Can I expect this "feature" to be added to the next firmware build? Thanks for any input! kind regards, Andre
