Hello, I would like to ask if the following setup is possible in omada ecosystem.

We have two homes, each with a single line ISP, each home has its server, and we planned to setup omada ecosystem network (router, switch, ap) in each house. Between those homes, a PTP radio network has been set up and tested with other brand radio.

My First Objective is:
When ISP in Home A become offline, client in Home A able to reach Internet from ISP in Home B, vice versa.

My Second Objective is:
Client in Home A, able to access Server in Home B, and Client in Home B also able to talk with Server with Home A.

Does Omada Router and Omada Software able to perform such routing condition? Do I need specific type of router or does all omada router support this setup?

Does the communication between Router over PTP radio network happen in WAN or LAN side?

Thank you.

Hi  @GoodMeMD

for the First Objective, unfortunately, that's not possible.

A site disconnected from the Internet is unable to get in touch with the outside world; therefore, it is not possible to get the Internet from another site.

For the second objective, you can create a site-to-site IPsec VPN to do this.

How to configure LAN-to-LAN IPsec VPN on TP-Link Router

Does the communication between Router over PTP radio network happen in WAN or LAN side?

>>>Is the PtP radio similar as the scenario in this article?  If yes, they should be in LAN side.
