Model: EAP610-Outdoor
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version:

I have the folllwing hardware installed and working corerctly.

ER605
OC200
SC108PE

EAP110

The EAP110 wifi access point set set to accept only certain MAc addresses.   When the EAP 110 is used alone, the unit work perfectly with the MAC address ALLOW only option.

However, when we add the EAP 610 - suddenly all the mac addresses defined previouly cannot access the WIFI of both the 110 and 610.  If i disconnect the 610 - the 110 works again.  If both 110 and 610 are connected, and MAC authentication is turned off - everything works ( unfortunately i become an open network ).  When i turn only the ALLOW option for MAC addresses - nobody can get in.  When i turn on the DENY option - everybody can get in ( including unauthorized ones ).  What is the problem ?

When i plug in the 610 , it the following seems to be happening :

the 110 and 610 mesh togther.

No one can get in to both AP's

Please urgent advise.

Best regards,

Dexter

Hi  @DexterQ

First of all, we had a new pre-release version for hardware controllers. If you don't mind, you may update and see if the issue can be fixed:

https://community.tp-link.com/en/business/forum/topic/706294

If that's not helpful, to better understand the issue, please send us the following info:

1. a screenshot of the mac-based auth config page;

2. a screenshot of the device page so we could know the hardware and firmware of the SDN devices you are using.
