Model: ER7206 (TL-ER7206)
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: ER7206(UN)_V2_2.1.1 Build 20240110

I was using Deco mesh for long time but soon get fraustrated from no fixed wan port and multiple crashes in a single day, i replaced main deco with er7206 now all deco working as AP mode. From that day no more crashes, recently install omada controller on RPI. Now when i see data usage of individual client some show correct and other add extra GB of data.

real usage 1.47/86.9GB

omada calculated 1.38/103.20GB

in ER7206(UN)_V2_2.1.2 Build 20240324 this was much worse (usage 80GB omada show 700GB) so i downgrade the version.

I tested in standalone mode same issue (router webui) seem's like issue in firmware, somehow i was able to figureout after long debugging and testing. this extra data added only when one or two client active usage more than 180Mbps for few minute (isp 300Mbps) in that period pseudo data was added and if i see data data port stats its show same as real usage.

meanwhile ui port stats show correct data but client stats add extra data.

Hi @kayyum_f388c764

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

After your report, our dev has tried but we failed to reproduce the issue.

Here are the results:

1. We use the firmware Build 0324, and in standalone, with Bandwidth Control enabled for an hour test, real traffic was 97.22/31.44 GB and it displayed as 100.7/33.3 GB.

2. Using the described Build 0110, and adopted by Omada Controller 5.14.32.X and enabled Bandwidth Control for an hour test, real traffic was 96.35/31.78 GB and displayed as 99.06/33.03 GB

So we conclude that this is expected and normal. No issue found. We did not experience the reported issue.

In your situation, can you rule out that you don't have other traffic going on in your network?

If you have other to add, feel free to explain. In addition, you should specify the controller version you are using for the described test and a backup file which I need it later after you have replied to this.
