TL-SG608E Firmware Upgrade without MS Windows
Hi All
I have a TL-SG608E and I would like to upgrade the firmware but I don't have a MS Windows install.
Can I get the firmware file please.
Or a link to the firmware file.
I'm sorry, my model wasn't available in the model drop down box............
Thanks

This model is an easy-smart manageable switch.
I think this model has not been out for a while and I can't find the firmware on common sites like Global and US.
I don't think there is a release of its firmware yet.
This model seems to be a new one. It is not on the list. We will add it later.

Thanks for the reply. The firmware I have is dated Oct '22. I would have thought that a new firmware would be available now.
I'm getting network lock-ups which are only resolved by a reboot of the managed switch.
I thought a managed switch would perform better than an un-managed switch but I have replaced this new switch with the old un-managed switch.
My issues are resolved.
What a waste of £30:00

It's in the middle between a managed switch and an unmanaged switch. We call it easy smart switch.
If you look at the layer 3 switch, the price is not like this. It offers a variety of stuff and we call that managed switch. This is just an entry-level switch. You see huge differences in much pricey switches.

Once again, thanks for the replies. Thankfully Amazon saw sense, the switch was puchased in January and has now gone back for a refund,
As you can see from my post history, my last two TP-Link devices have been a big let down.

That's normal. You try things before you find a suitable one for you. It does not hurt anything if you refund it.
I encourage you to try different vendors and products as I do it to find the price tag I can accept and the functions I find enough for me.
A higher price does not mean better performance or fit your expectations. Find what's suitable matters.
