Trying to set up OPENVPN so I can VPN in to access local services like Blue Iris, Smart Home Etc. from my android and PC. I followed the instructions here:

VPN connects fine (I used the .ovpn file to set up client), but while connected my client PC has no internet and can not ping machines on the host network.

The local network I am trying to access is on 10.1.1.x

there have been several similar problems in recent days, previously it was only mobile devices but now it also applies to PCs. look at this link, it is also possible to downgrade the PC client to solve the problem.
