Model: ER706W
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.2 Build 20240726 Rel.77184(4555)

Hello,
I have a tplink er706w router with the latest software version available for this device. In the remote access tab, I have not defined remote access to the configuration panel, but after entering the public IP address in the browser, the configuration panel is displayed. In addition, when scanning ports, I see that ports 22, 23, 80 and 443 are open. Why are these ports open and why is remote access to the configuration possible?

Thank you for your answer.

Strange, is your router behind another router, have your router a public ip on ER706W wan interface?

my router is contolled by omada so i cant test in stand alone.

But I find a simulator and this settings should do router Stealth

it's not open if you haven't opened these ports, my best guess is that you're testing against the wan ip from the lan on the same router.

  @MR.S

I've tested from several independent networks. From each one you can get to the configuration panel despite remote access being disabled.

  @MR.S Thanks, ports 22,23 closed, but 80 and 443 open despite remote access being OFF :(

Ok, do you use controller or stand alone?

why 80 and 443 is open is a mystery.

to get it stalth disable Block TCP Scan with RST, in controller you do that in network security and Attack Defense.
