Model: OC200
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 2.16.3 Build 20240620 Rel.81038

I have an OC200. A few hrs ago it went offline. It is connected to a POE switch. I tried unplugging it a few times and changing which port it was connected to. Eventually I was able to access it via the wired desktop I have. It is currently not able to be accessed via my laptop's browser using the IP address, or via the Omada app.

The cloud light on the back is working (now). When I try via the browser on my laptop with the IP address, it just says "this site can't be reached, the ip address took too long, try checking the connection" etc.

  @jhud922

When I ping the IP from my desktop, it returns packets. However when I ping from the Omada app on my phone, I am not getting any reply.

Hi  @jhud922

The IP address of OC200 is for internal access.

Is the laptop or the phone connecting to the local wifi? If yes, please tell us how the access point is connecting to the network and what IP address will you get.

You may try accessing omada.tplinkcloud.com on your phone or wireless laptop.

  @Vincent-TP I figured it out....apparently if you turn ON the guest network, it blocks your own access to all your devices on your network. Incredibly dumb feature, so not sure how i'm supposed to enable the guest network without tanking my own access.

Hi  @jhud922

Guest network will block clients from reaching any private IP subnet. This is for the safety of owners.

  @jhud922

"Incredibly dumb feature .... " you really need to read a book, before throwing around comments like that - it is how a Guest network is supposed to behave and is an incredibly useful feature used by millions all over the world.
