Model: OC200
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 5.14.26.23

Hi,

     I am looking for some guidance on migrate from my OC200 controller to a software based install since the new version will make the API obsolete.

     My controller has hardware V1 and is running with Firmware 1.31.3 Build 20240620 Rel.80383 and is running Controller 5.14.26.23. I installed the software controller 5.14.26.1 on a Ubuntu 22.04 container with java 8 and mongodb 7 following the instructions on the how to install controller FAQ question (/en/support/faq/3272/). I was able to log into the machine and see the initial tp-link omada screen.

     Next I started the controller migration by going to Settings->Migration->Controller Migration on the OC200. After downloading the configuration file I selected "Restore from backup file" on the new controller.

     After a couple of moments I was greeted with an error. By inspecting the error logs (/opt/tplink/EAPController/logs) I found the error bellow. Could someone provide me with some guidance on how to solve this problem?

    Thank you

  @GRALVES

Please try updating to V5.14.30.7 for the Linux Controller. After that, you can move the OC200 to the Linux Controller by performing a migration.This is the download link for the V5.14.30.7 Controller. Get the Latest Omada SDN Controller Releases Here - Subscribe for Updates
