Hello TP-Link,

Just curious ... Why requires at least two locations for this section? Is this used to filter certain networks based on geographical or region for security? If I have 20+ remote office branches in my country (Malaysia). Can I use this for my scenario? Can TP-Link rectify this in future software releases by allowing to choose a single location? Maybe (I think it is a good suggestion) to allow users to create custom locations based on the IP network or GPS location in addition to the existing feature.

Hi @bambinotenchie

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

Group, as a noun: number of people or things that are located close together or are considered or classed together.

So, Location Group, why does it need at least 2 locations? It answers itself.

Thanks but Location Group has countries listed. Maybe it would be a good idea to let user to create their location in addition to the existing.

If you know your country's CIDR, then set up the IP group. Or you want customization in your CIDR. The system offers such a choice.

We only pre-build this CIDR based on the standard. So, it could save other's time if they just want to use the pre-build range.
