Firmware
The last firmware release for the EAP245(US) v3.0 was on 2023-02-06. I’ve seen posts about beta firmware for the EAP245 V4 but nothing on the V3. Has TP-Link discontinued the V3, and if so, is there any official documentation or announcement about it?"

@Vincent-TP we're going on 18 months. It seems maybe the problem is too complex to resolve. Is TP willing to swap out V3 for V4 units? I have two of them.

I guess not. Two weeks ago I removed everything Omada and switched to Alta Labs. Night and difference and their customer support is amazing. Have a good one...

@JuniperMS This is my problem with the Omada, they re-release the same product as a different version and drop support for the older versions. I still have a few EAP245 v1s that only got a few updates and support was dropped, seems now the same is occurring for v3 since there is a v4.
I've been waiting on the Lock to AP function to be added for over a year now, don't think we'll see updates for the EAP245 anytime soon.

@Hank21 as we are patiently waiting, the last update, ... and 5 months later I must hope there has been made some progress right?
And the last message stating anything about a firmware update regarding the EAP245 v3 is the one above. According to my knowledge the current version is still: 5.1.0 Build 20230104 Rel. 79433.
And if not, is there anyone at TP-Link or a third party working on an update for the EAP245 V3? Or is TP-Link silently waiting for the EOL date......
