@Clive_A I did not find a calm time yet to adopt the router to a new site, will try on the weekend.

However, if it is a config problem (seemingly a bug somewhere then), how would that be resolved? Is there any way to resolve such a error in the config without setting up everything completly from scratch?

You can keep a backup of your problem. We can probably use it in the future.

Usually, it is a config issue as I have discussed with the test team members earlier over your reported issue. Somewhere in your config is not proper or you've changed something that corrupts it.
If this is resolved and cannot be reproduced on your new site, then it is not a router issue or controller. It should be something corrupted/misconfigured. We'll see at that time. We will make moves accordingly.

Hi,

Has a solution been found for this bug? Because it is very restrictive.

I encounter the same problem with a controller software 5.15.8.2 and my ER7206 v2.0, it is impossible to select the type of static connection that I validate, I get the error message: "The IP range you set for the WAN port conflicts with the IP range"

Until now I was connecting to my operator box via the WAN port, I now use the SFP WAN port (the WAN port is unwired)

I'm having problems with DHCP leases with unwanted IP address assignments (several per minute for the same client) and I would like to switch to static IP at the WAN level to stabilize all that.

@Thomas777 For me it has never fixed since i wrote the message.
I'm back at Ubiquiti (Unifi) after 2 years usage with TP Link...
Unifi is working... Well, very, very a lot better.
Support of unifi is faster and better and the wi-fi 6 has a much greater output then the wifi 6 of tp link.

I was using:

and our maximum output was 300/350/450, but now in Unifi it is 800+.

Sorry TP Link, but you have to take our complaints seriously we walk into.

@Thomas777  I just tried, it is still the same issue. Our ISP delivered a stable connection the last months, so it was not of an issue for us anymore to put a manual setting.

However, @Clive_A I also think it is inacceptable that TP-Link does not address this issue, now as several users reported it (and many will have the same problem without reporting it). This is simply not accepatable.

Running 2.2.6 Build 20240718 Rel.82712 on the ER605 v2 right now.

It's crazy to leave these customers without a solution. I'm a Tp Link partner and support keeps me going round in circles, even though I've already provided all the information, they manage to ask me again and once they've understood that the configuration was right and that the problem is theirs, strangely enough, there's no response.
