Hardware Version: V5

Hey there

I am an issue with my OC200 adopting my new EAP 225.

I've just plugged my new WIFI access: an EAP225. I did the reset. The EAP found the network and connected to the internet. So I have wifi delivered by the EAP225 in factory default.

Then I went then to the web interface of my OC200 controller and look for the device in order to configure it but I couldn't find it. It's connected to the port 5 of my switch which indicates the connection is working but the EAP still doesn't show up as a device on the OC200 interface as if the OC200 didnt adopt the EAP.

I went to my mobile omada controller app and the EAP225 doesnt show up on the app either.

I tried also to do direct configuration of the EAP225 by going to http://tplinkap.net and connecting to the extended Wi-Fi but http://tplinkap.net

led me to the page "It looks like you may have run into an issue"

Does someone understand the issue and how to fix it? Is my EAP225 broken?

Thanks

Hi,  @merime

To adopt the EAP225, we should first make sure the OC200 and the EAP can communicate with each other. Is the OC200 plugged into the same switch as the EAP plugged to?

Is there any VLAN setting on the switch that may block their connection?

BTW, the URL for the EAP's standalone web page is  tplinkeap.net.  You missed an "e".
