Hi everybody,

I am wondering how to rack-mount large switches like the TL-SG3428MP. The two front mount parts are fine for smaller devices. But the mentioned TL-SG3428MP is so heavy and deep it hangs down in the rear area. I am not really surprised given the device's weight. But the manual mentions nothing beyond the 2 front parts.

Currently it is not planned to mount more devices into this rack. So there's nothing that'll help stabilize it.

How would you recommend to achieve this?

Stuff like that appears a bit weird to me:

Hi  @ESCaNDIO

In normal case the rack mount ears should be good enough.

But if you have to find something, I prefer to a tray like this one:

I guess I'll then pick one of those. Thanks a lot for the suggestion!
