I am trying to edit the network settings on my Vigi C540-4g however when on the security manager app it is showing the following error. 

 

When using TP-Link ID to manage the camera, you can only view the camera's network settings, but cannot modify the network parameters.

 

I am trying to chnage the settings as i have a pay as you go sim card in the camera with an unlimited data plan however the camera is not using the plan and is draining the credit after a few minutes of using and then stops working.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure you are the admin of this camera.

 Hi @Kylewh 

 

Remote login(through Internet) won't let you change any network settings. If you want to modify the network settings, please login the cam via local Ethernet connection. 

 

BTW the Vigi C540-4g just uses the sim card automatically. You received the credit means your sim card is not actually "an unlimited data plan". Maybe use your phone to test this sim card.
