Model: OC200
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 5.13.30.20

I just got an upgrade notice on my cloud portal and I clicked and upgraded by Omada Cloud Controller Device (Omada Controller OC200 v1.0) from version v5.7.6 to version v5.13.30.20 without prior knowledge that it make the controller misbehave and it is not compatible.

The controller keeps automatically go offline and online repeatedly unending. I cant access the controller on the web as it keeps showing offline and within few seconds online and it goes on.

Any one have a solution to this, will manually pressing reset button return the firmware to factory settings?

Is there any tested solution to downgrade the firmware using the firmware file without the need to access it on the cloud as I can't reach the controller on the cloud atall?

Please help, I cant even perform any control on the network and this is urgent.

  @alitheog

As now, you cannot log in to the controller via the cloud. You can try logging in locally using the local IP address of the OC200 on the same network. Please check that the Omada Gateway managed by the controller has been updated to the latest firmware. If not, please update the gateway firmware after logging in to the OC200 locally. If this problem does not occur after updating the router's firmware, you can keep the current firmware. We suspect that this problem is caused by incompatibility between the Omada gateway and the OC200.

For information on how to downgrade the OC200, please refer to this link: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/3684/

As stated in the article:We can only downgrade the firmware on the controller locally and manually.
