Team,

I'm considering replacing three EAP245 with the same amount of EAP653.

My concern is the capabilities of the EAP653 in noisy environments because of:

(1) - its 2 antennes (versus the 3 of the EAP245) and

(2) - the differences in transmission power.

Also - what is the expected, real-life performance improvement (if anything)?

Anyone in a position of sharing some thoughts based on real-life experience?

Many thanks for the feedback,

- Will

Hi  @ITV

EAP653 UR could be a better choice, although I can only test them in lab.

@Fae

Thank you for the quick response.

I'm using the current EAP245's with a PoE injector (i.e. model TP-Link TL-POE4824G).

Would this work with the EAP653-UR model as wel?

Or what is the recommended PoE injector?

Hi  @ITV

TL-POE4824G also works for EAP653 UR. (tplink 48V Passive PoE)
