Hello,

Any status updates on this issue?

I am also experiencing this problem with EAP615-Wall V1 on latest firmware (1.5.0 Build 20240830).

Am worried this could be a hardware issue and no workaround/solution using software/firmware, as latest EAP615-Wall hardware is currently on V1.80

Checking some old discussions here and on reddit, it seems that this problem was never resolved two years ago, and TP-Link advised to just disable fast roaming or use WPA2.

@Vincent-TP

Could we please get a list of what EAP models/versions should support fast roaming on WPA3? Thanks!

  @mintFlavorWifi Hello does your WPA3 + 802.11r work when Fast Roaming is disabled?

The following is the list of products that support WPA3 + 802.11r, but I know you are asking about Fast Roaming..

https://www.tp-link.com/ph/support/faq/4118/

Also, for those still on iOS 17, better upgrade to iOS 18 (fix relatively recent in October 2024)

https://forum.openwrt.org/t/ios-18-1-fixes-wpa3-802-11r/212653

As for Mikrotik space, they also fixed something related to WPA3 + 802.11r very recently (January 16, 2025), see routerOS 7.17 changelogs
