I've setup NO-IP Dynamic DNS as per the user guide to use the WAN IP address however; NO-IP always seems to have the IP address of the WAN/LAN1 IP instead. It's the only Dynamic DNS record on the controller.

Looking at the logs, it seems like the correct WAN port is first used to bind the correct IP address to the domain as scheduled however; 2 minutes later another update is sent with the other WAN/LAN1 and incorrect IP address. Is this a bug?

Hi @0weavern

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

1 DDNS update entry. It syncs two WAN ports every hour per your settings. It indeed looks like strange.

Here's my question, what's the result if you ping your domain? What's the DNS reply to that domain? Is it the IP of the WAN?

What's the controller version?

Will also bring this issue to the test team.

BTW, do not select non-related tags.

Thanks for the response  @Clive_A .

Looks like the support team have picked it up on [TKID240523475] 18052540/ER605/NO IP DDNS and are investigating now.   But to answer your questions:

What's the result if you ping your domain? What's the DNS reply to that domain? Is it the IP of the WAN?

The NO-IP console shows the IP address of the WAN/LAN1 public IP address (as per the Omada logs).  A ping to the domain also returns the WAN/LAN1 public IP address

What's the controller version?

5.13.24 1.28.2 | Build 20240110 Rel.78776 however; this has happened on the version prior to upgrade too
