I got a few EAP access points, and installed Omada controller on a PC running Ubuntu 22.04.  The PC running Omada controller is in a server rack, and is connected to a Cisco 3750G switch.  From that switch, I have a mishmash of other switches connected to it - a TrendNet TPE-082WS, a TP-Link TL-SG2216, and a NetGear Prosafe 24-port switch.  The AP's are spread around throughout the building, connected to various switches.  The controller did not recognize any of the access points.  After a lot of frustration, I finally moved the PC running Omada Controller to the TP-Link TL-SG2216 switch, and then all of the AP's were discovered.  I also connected the controller PC to the Trendnet and Netgear switches, and both of those switches worked as well.  But, when the controller is connected to the Cisco 3750G, for some reason the controller can't connect to the AP's.

Any ideas as to what might be happening here?

Omada controller software is the latest - 5.13.30.8.

Have you set a VLAN on the network? I think you can try running the discover utility to find the AP when you connect the controller host computer to the Cisco switch.

Here is the guide on how to manage EAPs in different subnets: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/1359/

You could look at the DHCP tables and see the IP of the AP.  Log into the GUI and then enter the IP of the controller within the GUI and have it grab then.

In order to 'see' the APs you need to be able to 'see' their broadcast (not unicast) packets.  Something on the Cisco is blocking this, and you should be able to change the config to allow it.
