EAP110-Outdoor as AP lost connection
Hello everybody.
I bought EAP110-Outdoor for extend my connection outside my house, in the garden for video intercom.
There are about 30 meters between the EAP110 and destination device, but there isn't nothing in the middle only air.
I connect the AP with PoE adapter and Ethernet cable.
The signal, i good (2 out of 3 notches) but the connection is totaly lost.
Near the EAP110-Outdoor i navigate at 40 mbps, in the destination position arrive 0.90 mbps and, often, when navigate the device disconnects completely and i need to reconnect the device manualy.
I configurated EAP110 with web procedure.
I tried all, but i don't found solution.

Should not be, at -90dBm, the other signal is very faint compared to what you will be broadcasting. For instance, if you are at -60dBM and they are at -90dBm, you will be 2^((-60-(-90))/3) or ~1,000 times stronger (every 3dBm is a doubling of relative power).
By narrowing your channel from 40Mhz to 20Mhz, you also double the Watts/Mhz your radio puts out, and you are no longer impacted by what's going on with Channels 1 or 11 in your area either. It should be a strong improvement.
Note, it is still possible that there are other non-wifi 2.4Ghz signals (like cheap wireless video cameras etc) that don't show up on the graph as a signal. However, it will be reflected in the Signal Quality (RSRQ) metrics instead of the Signal Strength (RSSI). You can google wifi+rssi+rsrq for more technical info if you like.

Sounds like radio interference. Have you tried a different channel or done a site survey to see what the RF environment is like at the AP location and the end use location too?

In this moment is ok, but yesterday i had the same problem.
How can i do the survey?

You should also fix the channel width to 20Mhz, that will also improve performance and what I call 'goodput', also defined as 'useful throughput'.

Also, I would pick Channel 6 @20Mhz to start, that should be better than Ch13
BTW that was measured at the AP side of the link...at the location where you want to use it, what does the site survey look like from there?

Ok i'll set channel 6 and 20 Mhz.
In this screen i can see other network on channel 6, is it a problem?
