Model: TL-SG2428P   OC200
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version: 4.0.6

Hi!

Yesterday I wanted to add a new switch to my setup.

My hardware is:

OC200 hardware controller.

HW: v1.0

FW: 1.26.3, Controller Version 5.12.9

Router ER-605 v2

FW: 2.2.3

Switch TL-SG2428P v4.0

FW: 4.0.6

And a couple of different EAPs

Now after over 10 hours waiting time the switch is still in "ADOPTION" state.

In the DEVICES tab, the switch now appears with a new IP-Adress (192.168.40.248). It doesn't have a public IP-Adress. This field is blank.

What steps can I take to find the error other than resetting the entire setup?

I have already tried to factory reset the switch. But this didn't help.

I hope someone can give advice on this topic.

Thanks a lot.

Patrick

Hi @Patrick8277,

What is the IP address of your OC200?

Can the switch TL-SG2428P ping through the OC200?
