Model: ER7206 (TL-ER7206)
Hardware Version: V1

I am having issues with getting internet to a PC connected on LAN/WAN port 2. I have had success with connecting the netgear AP to this port and wireless connection to the AP i get internet but not hardwired to the PC. The PC i tried static and also tried dynamic setup for the ethernet adaptor and no luck. Any suggestions?

Hi @HPE

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

Did you set it to be a tagged port? PC does not accept tagged traffic.

Yes. Same thing. VLAN interface, then you set it as a tagged port? Tagged with a VLAN ID? Change it to untagged with VLAN ID + PVID to get the desired VLAN IP or untagged VLAN 1.

@Clive_A thanks for getting back to me. I have attached the screenshot of the settings to show you. The VLAN is ID 1 and there is still the issue.

It is really hard for me to squeeze things out of you in this format. Email or forum should be a place where you give enough detailed information. Yet this is not going well.

I thought you were saying everything under the context of the standalone. If it is the controller, I don't know if you are familiar enough with the controller. Read the User Guide first. I don't really know what you have changed and what caused this.

You come to the forum looking for an answer, so why not go to the support and speak about everything you have done before the issue pops up?

This picture means nothing to me. It just means you did not remove the port from the VLAN 1. The system does NOT support to remove ports from VLAN 1.

And why would you set the gateway to 172.16.1.94?

If you don't know what you are doing, reset the router and controller, and start over. It's your config issue.Or provide the step notes about everything you've changed. I'll find out the fault.

Have you read this before you post?

And this?
