VIGI APP
Hi guys,
A client was using the VIGI APP to make changes to the motion detection settings via the VIGI APP, but the push notifications would not sound when cameras detected human motion, I had to drive to visit site to confirm this issue. The cameras were all working fine along with motion human detection events but no push notifications at all been received to both android phones. I uninstalled the VIGI APP off the phone and reinstalled it again but still no success with the push notifications.
After three hours of checking the settings in the NVR and testing the motion detection, I noticed that the changes I was making using the VIGI APP was not appearing on the NVR.
I disabled the motion detection on the VIGI APP and set the motion detection again using the NVR and the push notifications began to start working again and I could see the changes confirmed on the VIGI APP.
Does the VIGI APP make changes to the NVR or it is making the changes to the camera?
Does the NVR make changes to the VIGI APP?
Is the motion detection done on NVR level or camera?
