EAP655-wall issues with VLANs after upgrade to 1.2.2
EAP655-wall issues with VLANs after upgrade to 1.2.2
Hello,
I've EAP655-wall conected through ethernet (poe), EAP653 conected through ethernet (poe) and EAP650 as mesh node with OC-200 omada controller. All AP have same 4 WiFi networks with different VLAN ID.
After upgrading EAP655 to 1.2.2 Build 20230918 Rel. 36991
- clients could connect to all WLANs (SSIDs)
- only WLAN with default VLAN was working
- other 3 VLANs had no connectivity (like most of the packets were dropped)
- clients conected to other APs - no issues
After downgrade of EAP655 to firmware version 1.2.0 Build 20230717 Rel. 63070 - the same problem.
After downgrade to firmware version 1.0.0 Build 20230330 Rel. 14305 - everything is working again.
I saw posts about similar issues related to EAP225 but no solution yet.
Best regards.

Hello @RS217AIII,
The new Beta firmware EAP650-WALL_V1_1.1.3_Build20231120 and EAP655-WALL_V1_1.2.3_Build20231120 have both contained the VLAN/WLAN no connectivity issue fixed like this thread mentioned.
Are you sure the issue you are suffering is the same as the issue this thread mentioned?
They don't have the IPv6 issue.

Hello Hank 21
the update solved both the VLAN problem and my IPv6 problem.
I hope it will be as stable as ThorB.
Many thanks to the engineers
