Model: ER7212PC
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.0

I've noticed some intermittent performance issues on my internet connection. Some googling has pointed me to the MTU settings.

My ISP states the MTU setting on the PPPoE should be set to 1500(RFC4638)

Currently when configuring the WAN connection as a PPPoE the limit is 1492. Which is logical when the total MTU is 1500.

RFC4638 describes setting the overal WAN interface to 1508 so the PPPoE can be set to 1500.

Please add RFC4638 support so we can take advantage of a more stable and faster internet connection.

On other comparative product this is already supported or possible through CLI.

Regards,

Jeroen

EDIT: If anyone knows a workaround for this please also reply.
