Device fails to connect to WIFI after reboot
I have a certain IoT device that fails to reconnect to wifi each time it reboots. Wireshark capture seems to show the AP does not send a authentication response which stops the IoT device from continuing with the association request. I do not find any log messages in Omada.
When manually trying to reconnect to the wifi from the IoT device by reentering the SSID and key it does connect, but I have to manually reconnect each time.
Anyone had a similar issue?

I finally managed to test it in a different network. There I do not have any connection issues and the device works as expected.

Hello @9hK6naC,
May I know the model number of the certain IoT device?
Have you tried to connect the IoT device to another WiFi to do a comparison test? You may connect it to your router's WiFi and observe for a while.
Are your sure the EAP you have is EAP653? Where did you get the 1.1.0 Build 20230414 firmware version?

@Hank21 ,
the device is a Jooki gen 2.
I have not tried a different WiFi outside of my AP but will do so when I can and update this post.
my device is an eap653. The firmware was send to me by TP-Link support team to resolve an issue I posted for before. https://community.tp-link.com/en/business/forum/topic/602032
