I keep getting disconnetions every few minutes, it varies by time of day sometimes it will hold up for 5 or 6 hrs before dropping other times only 30 seconds, the transmit negoitiated rate varies wildly from 866 to 100. The transmit power has a max of 10 but on youtube video others have their sliders up to 23 trnasmit power. The distance is about 300m in a heavy residential area of skyscrapers it is set up as locked to MAC and AP mode on one side, client on the other. Both antenna set to 23db. It seem the only channels avaialble are in the DFS range 5500 to 5640 and width is set as 20/40/80.

 

Is there a way to increase the transmit power or choose a channel that is not DFS to try?

Ah ok it's the limit of the combined antenna gain and the transmit power for regulatory max on outdoor UNII-2. 5500 to 5640 MHz which are channels I can use is a subset of the broader UNII-2 Extended band. Which is: United States (FCC): UNII-2 (5250-5350 MHz): Up to 23 dBm EIRP UNII-2 Extended (5470-5725 MHz): Up to 30 dBm EIRP for outdoor operations and up to 33 dBm EIRP for point-to-point links. European Union (ETSI): UNII-2 (5250-5350 MHz): Up to 23 dBm EIRP UNII-2 Extended (5470-5725 MHz): Up to 30 dBm EIRP Canada (ISED): UNII-2 (5250-5350 MHz): Up to 24 dBm EIRP UNII-2 Extended (5470-5725 MHz): Up to 36 dBm EIRP for point-to-point links and up to 30 dBm EIRP for other uses.

  @dishy Not sure who selected the solution but wasn't me. Still dropping and jumping channels all the time whether using the 7db feed gain modes and 23 transmit or 10 transmit and 23 gain. SNR between 28-42, noise -94, CCQ100. Maybe its a firmware issue.

Is there anywhere to see why it jumped like a false positive for radar triggered? Other brands seem to offer that but it's not in the basic logs for this.
