I haven't purchased my TP-Link setup yet as I have a question about a potential configuration.

I have 2 internet providers, Provider 1 on WAN1 and Provider 2 on WAN2. Provider 2 will be the failover internet service.

However, I'd also like to have Provider 2 on a wholly separate WiFi network in case I want to connect to it directly.

With Omada router, controller, switch and separate access point - is this possible and how?

  @EchoKos

You could setup a Backup SSID on a VLAN.  Then PBR that VLAN across WAN2.

But if you have two WANs in failover mode.  The internet will fail over for the whole router.  Either way it will work the same.

I can not teach anyone anything - I can only make them think - Socrates
