Hardware Version: V3

Firmware Version: 5.0.7

Hi All,

I'm trying to downgrade my TPlink EAP225 Outdoor AP with Hardware versio V3 and softwere version 5.0.7 to firmware version 5.0.6. But after uploading the file which is downloaded from TPlink it shows an error as "Failed to check for new update". If someone can help me on this it would be great..

Please refer to this Configuration Guide to downgrade the firmware version of your EAP.

Why do you wanna downgrade to 5.0.6? Did you downgrade the firmware in standalone or controller mode?

Actually we have 5.0.7, we need it to be downgraded to 5.0.6 for using some of our custom firmware..

need to downgrade in standalone mode.
