Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: V5

Hi all,

i used the software controller on my old pc to controll the accespoints.

but due to a crash i installed the controller on an other pc and i'm not able to get the devices adoped to the new pc(controller)

i even tried 2 different pc's,

pc 1 does not detect any AP

pc 2 does detect the AP's but is not able to adopt them.

i already tried factory resetting the AP's but this also did not work.

also did a firmware update of the AP

greetings Wouter

Check if the AP gets a valid IP, and try to ping it. This may help you:

What should I do when the Omada Controller (V4) fails to adopt the devices?

Just striving to develop myself while helping others.

If you didn't have a backup of your controller, or at the very least the Device user/password established by the old Controller, then you will need to start again from the beginning.

My guess is that PC1 has a Windows Firewall or something going on that is blocking the discovery process.
