DES encryption is considered insecure (it was broken in 1999) and was retired by NIST in 2005 because of its weakness. Similarly, SHA-1 has been deprecated by NIST due to its insecurity. Are there any plans to support more than DES encryption and SHA1 authentication for SNMP v3?
